The countdown is launched for Marko Perković Thompson's performance at the Zagreb Hippodrome, which is scheduled to gather half a million fans from all over Croatia and abroad.

Rivers of people are streaming towards the venue of the concert spectacle, which is estimated to last until midnight.
Thompson's concert is the most demanding police task in Croatian history. Around 6,500 police officers, almost 5,000 security guards and security guards, 70 firefighters and numerous doctors, nurses and technicians have been deployed at and around the hippodrome to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
During the day, the police detained five people, there were four medical interventions and drone flights were banned, a police representative reported.
Fans are pouring in from all over Croatia, but also from abroad, most of them wearing black T-shirts with Thompson's image or lyrics, and sporty red and white chequered jerseys. Many are also carrying Croatian flags.
Emergency teams are deployed inside and around the Hippodrome, all hospitals are on special duty due to the concert, and 400 beds have been set up at the Fairgrounds. In case of need, visitors should ask for help at the nearest fence of the sector they are in.
The first visitors entered the Zagreb Hippodrome at around 1 pm, and the space is filling up quickly. There was also a moment of general excitement – visitors ran towards the stage in a large group to take the best seats in the fan zone.
The atmosphere is positive and excitement is growing, and the sounds of warm-ups with music by the most popular Croatian singers come from the stage.
