Carrie Furnace Tour Rankin, Pennsylvania

We tour the abandoned Carrie Furnace Steel Mill situated on the Monongahela RIver in Rankin, Pennsylvania. This video condenses the two-hour tour into just under an hour. Conducted by knowledgeable former steelworker, Doug Styles, we explore the history of the steel industry dating from the end of the Civil War to the end of Pittsburgh's steel industry heyday in the late 1970's.
