Discord is testing some controversial new beta features, and some of them are going to make using Discord worse...

Because you can make your name impossible to read by using Display Name Styles, a feature that allows you to change the font, color, and effect of your Discord username (available only with Discord nitro of course). But you can also spend your hard earned money on more server boosts to unlock more clan tag icons to "flex" on people....

There's also a bunch of new GAMING features for Discord, like profile widgets, game pings, game store links, and game activity (which I will be turning off right away lol).

However, between the mountains of cosmetic cash-grab features and gaming clutter, there's a beautiful valley of amazing Discord features. XDM search, report to mods, and a new anti-scam feature that will hopefully stop people from falling for scams on Discord.

Note: These are experimental Discord features, things can and will change before the feature gets released. And in some cases, the feature may not even come out at all.
