Ongoing professional learning and development are essential to ensuring teachers and staff continue to build skills and knowledge that directly benefit student success. Travel for conferences is a standard component of professional development budgets in school districts, offering opportunities to learn from peers and national experts. Conference venues and hotel accommodations are typically arranged by the hosting organizations, with discounted room rates provided for registered attendees.
“As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, MNPS values the opportunity to learn from educators across the country who are leading in this complex work. We expect our teams to return with research-based practices and strategies that can be applied within our schools to support teaching and learning.”
