This upload is on Modular Kitchen Shelf Maintenance. Basically a wooden surface needs to be kept dry else it would lead to undesirable effects.

So inorder to avoid such situations, we have to line the shelf properly so that it would maintain in good shape in the long run.

I have tried making DIY Shelf Liner using newspaper, plastic sheets (Books Wrapper) and the Scotch tape which turned out to be sturdy and solved the purpose wisely.

Now this kind of shelf liners are resistant to water and other stains. It is easy to clean. It would also last for a decent period of time.
