Women’s Day Walkathon 2K26 Concludes Successfully in Chennai

The Women’s Day Walkathon 2K26, organized by Hushpurr India’s first women exclusive secret wellness store & Lions club international at Napier Bridge near Omandurar Medical College ground, drew enthusiastic crowds on March 8, 2026, promoting breast cancer awareness, women’s wellness, and a drug-free society.

The event kicked off at 5:30 AM with pre-event arrangements, including more than 1000 participants positioning for 5K, 3K, and 1K walks. Pre-event talks followed by a Zumba session, physio stretching till 6:15 AM, and staggered flag-offs: 5K at 6:15 AM, 3K at 6:20 AM, and 1K at 6:30 AM.

Chief guests including Erode Mahesh, Dr. Sushila from Apollo Women Hospital, Mrs. Vidhya Radhakrishnan, Mrs. Moni Venkatesh (Hushpurr Founder and Lions Club first Governor dean MOP Vaishnav College, graced the stage for the flag-off.

Post announcements highlighted Hushpurr offers: 50% off on cosmetics, intimate lingerie, saree shape wear, and Mom Luxe products at their stall; ₹2000 beauty parlour coupons; ₹1000 medical check-ups; and mammogram benefits—aligning with perks like free mammograms (₹3000 value) for registrants.

A Zumba session energized the crowd, followed by speeches from Erode Mahesh and Dr. Sushila launching Mom Luxe care products with 5 moms (includes three recent deliveries or 5-6 months pregnant). Dr Susheela from Apollo women’s hospital , Hushpurr Founder, CEO Radhakrishnan and Venkatesh distributed free Mom Luxe care gift boxes, emphasizing postpartum and prenatal support.

A highlight was Dr. Sushila’s launch of Hushpurr’s Mom Luxe care products, tailored for new and expectant mothers gave free gift to five moms joining Mom Luxe offers gentle, nourishing formulas for skin hydration, stretch mark prevention, and recovery: soothing creams reduce irritation; oils promote elasticity; kits include massage balms for fatigue relief.

Lions Club led a 2-minute oath-taking for a drug-free society; Hushpurr Founder Radhakrishnan and Venkatesh, along with Lion Governor Murugan, presented mementos to Erode Mahesh, Dr. Sushila, Dr. Daniel, Health Umbrella team Saravanan, Zumba team Jeeva, college principals, Lions members, and Hushpurr employees Gopal, Raja, Karikalan, and Natraj.
