The riding season is starting to wind down and the R1 needs to be cleaned before it's put away for the winter. On a track bike like this, we don't want to just spray it down with a hose and call it a day. We want to do a deep, thorough clean so the bike is ready go for next season. To do this, we decided to use the Maxima line of cleaning products. We start out by cleaning the chain with Maxima's Clean Up chain cleaner and we also used the Tirox 360 chain brush which did a great job of scrubbing out the old chain wax and dirt that was building up. In this video, Van will show you how he cleans his chain, as well as give you some tips and tricks on cleaning the rest of your bike.
