“High Noon “It is the theme song of the movie High Noon, sung over the opening credits by Tex Ritter, with its tune repeated throughout the film. It was awarded the 1952 Academy Award for Best Original Song, and was performed that night for the Academy by Ritter.

Lots of people have recorded it and The Shadows made a superb instrumental version for their 1982 Album “Life in the Jungle” Images of the album are towards the end of my video.

I was inspired to learn this one after hearing my YouTube friend Antonio’s version a few days ago.

The BT I used is one of Ian McCutcheon’s from Workout 2008 available from Leo’s Den

The images of my acoustic guitars on the wall at the end of the video were a request from Danny Hauger

Played on my Alan Brason Custom Strat (copy of the Fender 40th Anniversary model) fitted with Kinman FV-HMS Pickups on bridge position through an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP (Echoes from the past) Patch 1-68 (Classic Twang) and into cubase SX6 on the computer.

Please enjoy “High Noon”
