It is time to explore the tea mountains of Pu'er county. Located in Southern Yunnan, this is the largest county of the province and offers a great diversity of landscapes. From the high mountains of Wuliang and Ailao to the hot tropical forests of Jiang Cheng, Pu'er lies in the center of Yunnan and marks the limit between the South-East Asian vibe of the borders and the more 'civilized' Han culture of the North.



The county produces all kinds of teas: Pu-erh, black tea, green tea, white tea, and you'll also find oolong cultivars! The most famous tea producing areas are Jingmai, Jinggu, Kunlu Shan and Wuliang Shan, but you'll find out much more in this detailed video.
