Wow this badge snuck up on me, I had to head out to make sure I had a selection of good beers.

I'm happy with this choice as well, can always be tricky getting a great unique beer or just a weird unique beer this one turned out good, I thought it sounded good and it was.

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery
Dogfish Head started in June 1995 when Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats was established in the beach community of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Dogfish Head was the first brewpub of the state. The original plan to deliver great music, delicious food and fine beers to the community came to life when the first batch of Shelter Pale Ale beers were started. Soon, Dogfish Head engaged in brewing 12 gallons of beer batches to supply the restaurant’s need. Dogfish Head brewery quickly achieved popularity beyond the state and reaches to nearby areas like Philadelphia and Washington D.C. Signature Brew & Dogfish Head have come together to bring you Piercing Pils - a Czech Style Pilsner brewed with a White Pear Tea and Pear juice.

Both the juice and the tea were added in the kettle during the whirlpool, after the boil, for maximum flavour and aroma contribution…

You ever heard a pear sing? The pear’s fruity
complexity pierces through the spicy Czech Saaz hops beautifully, adding a gentle acidity to this pale lager that makes for a crisp refreshing sipper.

Amarillo hops add nuanced citrus notes that meld perfectly with the fruit.
