Building a DIY bluetooth speaker !

In this video you see me building an amazing homemade DIY portable wireless bluetooth boombox multimedia speaker.

Since I am a huge fan of Mercedes AMG, I built it in this theme. I used a Panamericana style front grill of a Mercedes CLA W117 and built the speaker around it.

I made a plug from XPS insulation foam, then created a mold around it, and used this mold to build the fiberglass body of the speaker.

It uses a Podofo 2DIN Android head unit and 2 sets of Pioneer car speakers. This head unit features connections through wifi and bluetooth. I also built in a USB connector in the Mercedes logo for easy music transfer.

The speaker works on battery power (36v lithium pack) or it can be plugged into a 220v wall socket.
