To Hells Canyon and Back in our Jet Boat - Charmed by the Snake River

What happened when we took our boat to HELLS CANYON for the first time? Grab a seat and ride the white waters of the Snake River in our jet boat with us. This raging river carved 8,000 feet down to create Hells Canyon, a jet boating paradise and we wanted to check it out. Hells Canyon National Recreation area provides the white water adrenaline, we just added our plant based picnic and North River boat. This was a our first time so we hooked up with some experienced captains to follow on our first day out. The second day, we were on our own. The Snake River and Salmon River, also known as, The River Of No Return were running a bit high on our May 2022 adventure. We stayed in the Lewiston Clarkston area, and went south to Asotin, Washington to launch at Heller Bar. From there, we headed toward the Hells Canyon Dam (but only made it to Dug Bar). We also went up the Salmon River, powering our jet boat through the Eye of the Needle Rapids.
