Walking on London's Mini Punjabi Sikh & Pakistan Street in Southall | The Broadway on Eid Day (2023)

You may ask yourself "Is this India or London?" whilst watching this video.

All I can say is what a delight to take a walk here in Southall, home to a large Punjabi Sikh, Pakistani & Indian community.

I can clearly recall the first time that i went to Southall and can recall that it felt like going to a whole new country, not even a country... ...a galaxy, it felt like visiting a whole new planet, it was completely different, it was colourful & lively, the aroma of spiced up Indian Street Food filled the air, in the summer months you could even buy Alphonso & Kesar mangos.

When my wife first came to London she would say "why is there no colour here" (India is so colourful). I said there is colour, you just have to go to the right places...

London is a wonderful & beautiful city, with such lovely people & places.
