In a real building, a walk test is performed so that the tech can go around and test each device without causing a real alarm and a building evacuation. It is vital that these walk tests are performed at least once a year, to ensure that all devices are working properly, and to protect life and safety.
This was done in a controlled environment!!
Never pull fire alarms in real buildings, unless it's a real emergency, and NEVER tamper with life and safety equipment out in public, unless you have the authority to do so!! You will get into a ton of trouble with the law, face hefty fines, and possibly jail time!!
