Our next "One Expert, Two Wines, Thirty Minutes" tasting with winemaker Daniel Ravier of Domaine Tempier in Provence, France! It is impossible to overstate the importance of Domaine Tempier in the wines of Bandol and Provence in general. A special symbiosis between Tempier, Kermit Lynch, author Richard Olney and chef Alice Waters from Chez Panisse in Berkeley created something very, very special - a winery, an importer, a history, and a cuisine which were perfectly suited to each other and changed the American wine and restaurant culture forever. Daniel has been the chief executive at Domaine Tempier for 20 years. This is a very, very special tasting.
