"Over 30 House Republicans opposed a last-minute bill to avert a partial government shutdown, while no Democrats voted against it. The original bipartisan 1,547-page proposal collapsed earlier in the week after criticism from Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. The passed bill extends funding until March 14, but some Republicans, like Rep. Tim Burchett, voiced frustration over its provisions, including $100 billion in funding criticized as giving President Biden too much control. Notably, the bill also lacked key priorities favored by Donald Trump."
