Rocky Mountain National Park, Horseback Riding - Part 2/4

Описание к видео Rocky Mountain National Park, Horseback Riding - Part 2/4

There is a pine bark beetle that digs into the center of the tree. They eat the sap which is the most important part of the tree. The tree becomes weak and dies. Dead trees make forest fires even worse. To avoid the problem, they cut down the trees and use them as camp fires during winter. Snow stops the fire from spreading around to the good trees. We also saw Deer Mountain. It is called Deer Mountain because deers used to live there.
