Saint Mary’s Feast (Part-2/2)

The main attraction of the celebration is the chariot. A decorated chariot with Mother Mary on top is pulled from St. Mary's Basilica. The movement of the chariot with large number of prists in the front becomes a spectacular event. The band party and devotional songs makes the environment very attractive. Thousands of people participate in this great event every year.

After the chariot was pulled away from the church we went with the chariot for a distance then came back to the church. We had a blissful darshan of Lord Jesus and Mother Mary in the Church. There was heavy crowd in the church too. This is one of the two most important festivals in this church, the other being the Christmas.
