This is part 1 of Hay Making video.

In this video you can see me mowing grass for hay in one of our largest grass fields. It is also the last field of 1st cut.
I'm using our John Deere 5085M and Pottinger disc mower. I mowed the grass in the evening. The next day I went tedding it with Pottinger tedder.
As it's the last field of 1st cutting the grass is already a bit old, but we need it for feeding dry cows (cows between lactations) as they don't need high nutrition feed.
It is also one of our most difficult fields to work on, with the creek on one side and steep slopes on the other.
In part 2 of this video you can see us raking, lifting and storing hay.
