FAQs:

Q. Can you offer this to vehicles outside of Victoria / Australia?
Just need a coding and activation.

A. Nope - Unlike the Jaguar We've done in the different video which if you have the all those right tools and access to the SOTA to get verified, there's a chance you can do it locally.

But for Range Rovers, they require a different software and approach. And even for us It's hard to do so.
Thus we get a help from JLR HQ in UK despite the time difference of 9hrs between AEST and BST.


Q. Did you use a genuine parts?

A. Yes. A genuine UIP device with coding / activation.
Which you can't buy and install the whole lot from ordinary online store / Dealership service department.
Because :
1) Those Parts are not for sale.
2) Dealers will pretend that they never heard of such thing.


Q. Will it work with any RR with InControl Touch?

A. Only with certain sofware version, above S19C software.
Whilst most of Range Rovers after 2018 should have it already either via update or came with one from the factory, the hardware update isn't supported by the Range Rover - they will refuse to provide it.
And even if they have above S19C, they are still lacking of the actual hardware for Smartphone Interface.


Q. What If we buy the software / coding tool from you?

A. We are not permitted to sell the whole coding program to retails / other business unless approved by JLR.


Q. Does It support wireless CarPlay or Android Auto?

A. Only for wired connectivity.


Q. Does It support a full Smartphone Mirroring?

A. No It doesn't.

Q. My car has the InControl Touch Pro Duo, with dual view screen / 2 Displays - will it still work?

A. As far as we know It should, but We haven't seen one that came without Android auto / CarPlay in Aus.
