Land Rover LR4 Gear Knob Stuck - **SOLVED**

This is a permanent fix to bypass the solenoid that craps out of your Evoque, Discovery, or RRS with the twist dial shifter that gets stuck in a gear. The full breakdown is in my other video

0) Disconnect batteries
1) Remove two screws under cupholder
2) Jiggle center console out and flip over
3) Take out the 10 silver T20 screws on back of TCS
4) Take out 4 larger T20 screws from the back of height adjust panel
5) Flip over & slide off facia to gear selector
6) Remove 4 black T20 screws
7) CAREFULLY remove TCS (plastic grommets can break easily…they help align shifter, but aren’t necessary)
8) Drill small hole similar to in my video
9) Feed zip tie through it and over the gear engage
10) Close it up & repeat in reverse
