Hi Friends, today I am painting a beautiful Old Bridge in Hereford UK. The focus of this demonstration is painting light, so I am using a a few techniques to emphasise the feel of a sunlit scene with bright crisp shadows and hazy cloude and soft reflections. This is a good subject to practic painting in layers (wet on dry). First wash - light values, second wash - middle values and finally added all the darks and highlights. The most important and difficult part here is painting in correct values and using correct techniqes: wet on wet (sky and reflections), dry on wet (middle values) and dry brush.
