VERTIGO 2 is the big, funny, high quality, single player PC VR adventure I've been waiting for and it's all been created by a SINGLE DEVELOPER (albeit over the course of 7 years...). However this particular developer has previously worked with Valve and you can feel those Half Life & Portal influences in every inch of Vertigo 2; a genuinely funny and charming new VR game that takes players on a journey across 18 varied campaign levels with crazy creatures to kill, eccentric characters to meet and high tech weaponry to collect. In a lot of ways Vertigo 2 feels like the kind of VR single player adventure that I wanted from Bonelab, however whereas Bonelab leant far more on the sandbox element and left the single player adventure lacking Vertigo 2 is all about the story driven campaign experience. Guns feel great to use, the soundtrack is excellent, level design feels reminiscent of classic Valve titles and the game looks and runs beautifully with a full suite of accessibility options for VR players of all skill levels and comfort types. If you're looking for the best PC VR game of 2023 so far then it's currently an easy win for Vertigo 2...

This Vertigo 2 VR gameplay was captured over the first 5 levels of the 18 level campaign, lots of editing means I haven't shown a lot of the big story beats and encounters. I used the games inbuilt recording options to capture this footage at the highest settings so everything shown is representative of Vertigo 2 4090 VR gameplay on the highest preset.
