Put my California Air Tools Compressor up in the storage attic above my third bay of the garage. There's no living space above it, but higher over the main garage is the guest bedroom which you can hear it but it's a dull noise like the washing machine is running. REALLY pleased with how this came out.

I wired in the switch and outlet tapping off the pull chain light in the attic, which is on the circuit that only has the garage door openers and the attic light on it. Won't be running doors and the compressor at the same time, so it should be a non-factor in terms of power draw / amps.
