Keanu Reeves Spotted in Toronto After Home Invasion

Keanu Reeves, the star of The Matrix and John Wick, was seen for the first time since his Los Angeles home was burglarized by masked intruders last week. The actor was in his hometown of Toronto, Canada with his rock band Dogstar, performing a gig on Saturday night and hanging out with his bandmates on Sunday.

Reeves, who plays the bass guitar for Dogstar, was photographed carrying a guitar case and a backpack over his shoulder, wearing a black corduroy jacket, a scarf and dark denim jeans. He looked relaxed and unfazed by the recent incident at his LA residence.

According to TMZ, Reeves’ house was hit by thieves wearing ski masks on Wednesday night, while he was not at home. The intruders broke into his home, stole a firearm and fled the scene before police arrived. The LAPD is currently investigating the case and reviewing security footage from Reeves’ home and the surrounding neighborhood.

This is not the first time that Reeves has faced such a situation. In 2014, he had two back-to-back break-ins at his home, one of which involved a female intruder who claimed to have come to meet him. He also obtained a restraining order against an alleged stalker earlier this year, who repeatedly trespassed on his property and left a backpack with a DNA testing kit.

Despite the drama, Reeves seems to be enjoying his music tour with Dogstar, which reunited in May after a hiatus of over two decades. The band, which also features Bret Domrose and Robert Mailhouse, released their third album in October and will continue to perform across the U.S. and Canada until the summer of 2024.
