Limoux, in the Occitane region of South West France, is the closest town to our villa - just 12 minutes away. The outskirts of the town are "industrial" - mainly wine making - but the centre has its traditional square and is very authentic.
Bev and I enjoyed a lunch, in the shade, on an impossibly hot day. The rest of our party ate there too during our stay and we all agreed it was very good.
Bev was brave to eat moules on such a hot day but no harm done and they were gigantic!
