Flosstube Extra: Cross Stitch Christmas Tree Finishing Tutorial

In this video I'll show you how to make freestanding Christmas tress with your cross stitch. The template for the these trees can be found on my website: www.eastcoastcrafter.com


I said I stitched these on Dusk Aida, but I actually used 14 count Echo Aida from Picture This Plus with the called for Classic Colorworks flosses.

To make a template for a different chart, make a triangle measuring a half inch from the bottom of your stitching and a half inch from both sides.

The chart that I used is The Tree Lot by Hands on Design.

Supplies used:
Mat board
cotton batting
Double Sided Tape (I use Scor Tape from Amazon)
Bodkin
Needle & Heavy Duty Thread
Hot Glue
DMC floss for cording.
