TROY- Troy Police are calling it one of the biggest drug busts ever in their city.  On Friday morning, they took down a known drug dealer and found a huge stash of cash, guns and drugs at the home he shared with his parents along 5th Avenue in Troy.  34 year-old Jamaine Myers was found in possession of more than 15,000 in cash, a number of long guns and a significant amount of crack cocaine and powder cocaine.  Myers is a career criminal who has been arrested 10 times and convicted of crimes ranging from selling and buying drugs to forgery and resisting arrest.  Troy Police say in this case, he dealt drugs to undercover officers. "We had to make buys to prove to a judge we had a lawful right to go in there and search for and then seize contraband which we have successfully done," says Richard McAvoy, Deputy Chief of the Troy Police Department.  His officers executed a search warrant around 6am on Friday and Meyers was taken into custody without incident.      Investigators say they were tipped off by vigilant neighbors who noticed heavy traffic coming and going from the home.  "When someone is engaged in this kind of criminal activity, it's kinda a slap in the face to all the legitimate residents in the neighborhood, they seem them profiting from it and it's another slap in the face, so when they reach out and give us information and we come through with something like this, it encourages them and gives them a sense of community again and we're partners with them," says McAvoy. But Theresa Kaddo lives in the neighborhood and she's not convinced Myers' arrest will have a lasting impact.  "I know it seems like a lot money but it's also just a drop in the bucket when you think about it," she says.  Part of the issue, according to Kaddo, is that the neighborhood is in close proximity to easy exits for buyers.  "Cars can drive really fast and hit the highway and get away from cops," she tells CBS6 adding, "you learn to live with it and hope to god that when you walk out the front door, you get to where you're going safe."Troy Police say the money seized will be split between the Police Department and the District Attorney's office and can be used at their discretion in other drug-related investigations.  Jamanie Myers is being held without bail until his next court appearance on September 18th.
