Aughavas player / manager Fintan McBrien rolled back the years with a well taken long range score and a settling head in his late ten minute cameo at the end of a tight fixture in Leitrim Village in the first game of the Junior C Football Championship against Leitrim Gaels.

The former inter county star recently given a spot in Leitrim’s best team of the last two decades( 2000-2020) looked like he’d still do a job at a higher level as he helped guide his charges to a victory.

A last minute goal adding a final gloss to the score line for the away side.
