2110 is a prototype articulated bus that was trialled for the late M10 route.

Before the Volgren articulated buses entered service, a trial consisting of B12BLEA Euro 5 ZF, K310UA, N310UA and K310UB 14.5 was undertaken to decide the new artic bus for Sydney. The numbers were:
2108 - Scania K310UB Volgren CR228L 14.5m
2109 - Volvo B12BLEA Euro 5 ZF CB60 Evoii
2110 - Same as 2109
2111 - Scania K310UA CB60 Evoii
2112 - Scania N310UA Volgren CR228L
1701 - Volvo B12BLEA Euro 3 ZF CB60
2001 - Volvo B12BLEA Voith Volgren CR228L

As a result of the trial, the voith Volvo B12BLEA’s were chosen as Sydney’s newest addition to the articulated fleet to replace the remaining PMC ‘mark’ artics.

Currently, the prototypes reside in various depots across 2 different operators and are still in service today.

2110 is a rocket of an articulated. With its Euro 5 engine and lovely ZF, it is faster than your average Volgren articulated. It is currently situated in Transit System’s Tempe Depot, and can be seen on at any time on the majority of Tempe routes.
