2024 SoCal Renaissance Pleasure Faire in 4K! Costumes, Jousting, Dancing, Sword Swallowing & More!

We made our first visit to the Southern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire on Sunday, May 5, 2024 and were so glad we went! We weren’t sure if it would be worth it at about $45 per per ticket with fees for each adult plus $12 parking, but we thoroughly enjoyed a full day of spectacle and entertainment and left happy and exhausted! This year's faire goes through May 19, so there's still time to catch it.

Be sure to grab a schedule when you arrive so you can plan out your day. There are multiple stages with performances that take place throughout the day, plus lots of shopping stalls to browse, food and drinks to enjoy, games to play, and the people watching is beyond compare!

Don’t worry if you’re not in costume—we weren’t and no one cared. Some people even wore completely non-Renaissance costumes (we saw Power Rangers, Steampunk inspired wear, fairies, playing cards…come as you are or wear any old costume!)

We had no idea what to expect and we hope this video will provide an overview of just some of the things you can do at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire. It’s totally worth it and we had so much fun that we’re already planning another visit next year. It’s all outdoors so be sure to bring sunscreen and water and be prepared to do a lot of walking—it’s 20 acres of amazing things to explore!
