What to do when your ink and paint separates out - mixing/agitator balls!

Описание к видео What to do when your ink and paint separates out - mixing/agitator balls!

With thanks to Pat Hayes and Atelierth'hun for this tip. They obviously got fed up of me shaking up old acrylic inks in my last film and shared a great idea of using ball bearings as agitator balls or mixing balls in your paints and inks which are prone to separation.

You might enjoy the film about whether you can use acrylic inks as watercolours:    • Can you use acrylic ink like watercol...

I've looked back at my film as I am uploading it and I don't think I emphasised enough that the balls must be stainless steel. We don't want rust in our paints do we? Hematite beads are another option, but glass beads would not be heavy enough. So please check your ball bearings, because we all know that when you buy off the internet, what you get is not always what you thought you were getting. Check for stainless steel!
