Probably not the STUPIDEST movie I’ve seen in a few years (if only because it’s too competently made and legitimately well acted for that) but it’s EASILY the stupidest movie that thinks it’s a SMART movie I’ve seen in as long as I can remember; however impressive it is in hindsight that the “CIVIL WAR” movie about Marvel guys punching eachother made by Mickey Mouse could find a way to give it’s characters a coherent ideological conflict but the “CIVIL WAR” movie about an internecine shooting war in the United States made by the cool fancy art-kid studio somehow COULDN’T.
