Ryu (リュウ(隆) Ryū?, "Prosperous", "Plentiful", "Abundant"), also known as the World Warrior (世界の戦士 Sekai no senshi?)[22] is the main protagonist of the Street Fighter series, first appearing in the original Street Fighter.[23] He is an experienced martial artist, highly focused on his training, aiming to become the strongest he can.

Ken Masters (ケン・マスターズ Ken Masutāzu?), also known as the Framed Champion (額装されたチャンピオン Gakusō sa reta chanpion?)[26], is the deuteragonist of the Street Fighter series, first appearing in the original Street Fighter. Similar to his longtime best friend and rival Ryu, Ken's goal is to test his power against many different fighters and strives to become stronger, but holds more restraint due to not wanting to jeopardize his family life.

Marshall Law (マーシャル・ロウ Māsharu Rou?) is an American fighter of Chinese descent who was introduced in the original Tekken game, and has returned for all subsequent Tekken games, except Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament (where he was replaced by his son, Forest Law, though he made a cameo in his son's ending and in the opening in the former). He is a very close friend of Paul Phoenix and is married to Mrs. Law. He and his family have at various times owned a dojo and a restaurant.

Paul Phoenix (ポール・フェニックス Pōru Fenikkusu?) is a character in the Tekken series who made his debut in the first Tekken game and has since appeared in every game to date. He is a hotheaded, aggressive character, determined more than ever to win the King of Iron Fist Tournament and prove he is the best fighter in the entire universe. Paul is good friends with the Law Family.

Although he gets close several times (especially in Tekken 3), Paul has never won a tournament. Additionally, despite his set-up in the first game as Kazuya Mishima's rival, Paul's chances of challenging Kazuya in a rematch are consistently thwarted by fights with Kuma I, Kuma II, or Panda.

"Street Fighter X Tekken" (pronounced "Street Fighter Cross Tekken") is a crossover fighting game that brings together characters from Capcom's Street Fighter series and Namco's Tekken series. The game was developed and published by Capcom, released in 2012 for various gaming platforms including PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows.

The gameplay of Street Fighter X Tekken combines elements from both franchises. It follows the 2D fighting style of the Street Fighter series but incorporates mechanics and characters from Tekken. Players can form teams of two characters, one from each franchise, and engage in tag team battles.

The game features a roster of characters from both series, each with their own unique moves and abilities. The fighting mechanics include the use of traditional Street Fighter inputs for special moves, combos, and super moves, along with a gem system that allows players to customize their characters and enhance their abilities.

Street Fighter X Tekken was well-received for its exciting crossover concept and gameplay, although it did receive some criticism for certain gameplay mechanics and balance issues. Overall, it was an exciting venture for fans of both franchises, allowing them to experience battles between their favorite characters from Street Fighter and Tekken in a unique crossover setting.
