Backpacking the Buffalo River Trail: Part One - Big Hills and Big Bluff

Описание к видео Backpacking the Buffalo River Trail: Part One - Big Hills and Big Bluff

On April 12-16 I hiked the 37 mile long Buffalo River Trail spanning from Boxley (Highway 21) to Pruitt (Highway 7) at Buffalo National River in Newton County, Arkansas. The hike is challenging, going thru rough, rocky terrain and up several sizable hills. This was my third time hiking the trail tho and for the most park knew what to expect.

This video is for the first two days of the hike where I go from Boxley to the Slatey Place (just a few miles before Kyle's Landing). I hope you enjoy the watching the trail as it goes through some of the highlights of the Ponca Wilderness of the Buffalo River.

If you have any questions about the trail feel free to ask in the comments, I'd be happy to answer any when I get a chance too. Thank you to everyone that watched; if you enjoyed the first half of the hike be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell so you'll know when the second part comes out!
