Jack Osbourne is keeping his father’s legacy close to his heart and his wardrobe.
Exactly one month after Ozzy Osbourne’s death, the 39-year-old son of the legendary rocker and Sharon Osbourne was photographed in Los Angeles paying tribute in a quiet but powerful way. Jack stepped out on Friday, Aug. 22, wearing a Black Sabbath T-shirt a nod to his father’s iconic band — paired with black shorts, a baseball cap, and gray sneakers.
The outing comes after the Osbourne family confirmed on July 22 that Ozzy had died at age 76 following an “out-of-hospital cardiac arrest” and “acute myocardial infarction.” His official death certificate also listed coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction as contributing factors.
For Jack, however, the loss has been deeply personal. Breaking his silence in an emotional Instagram post on Aug. 6, the media personality reflected on his father’s larger-than-life presence and the intimate bond they shared.
“I haven’t really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much,” Jack wrote. “He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be part of a very small group that got to call him ‘Dad.’ My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude.”
Jack’s touching tribute was accompanied by a video montage of never-before-seen family clips including tender moments between Ozzy and his grandchildren.
Now, his Black Sabbath shirt serves as a wearable reminder that while the world lost a rock legend, Jack lost a father.
