How To Make Yellow Frosting for Cakes, Cupcakes, and Cookies | 3 Easy Ways to Make Yellow Frosting!

Learn how to make three different shades of yellow frosting for cakes, cupcakes, and cookies! Feel free to use another shade of yellow, but I found that Americolor's Lemon Yellow gel food coloring produced the best results to create these three shades of yellow. I highly recommend using gel food coloring compared to liquid food coloring since gel food coloring is more concentrated than liquid food coloring. Americolor gel food coloring is my favorite gel food coloring since you do not need to use many drops of gel food coloring to make vibrant bold colors and it does not make the frosting taste bitter. Yellow frosting is great for decorating for many seasons like fall, summer, and spring and can also make beautiful flowers on top of cakes and cupcakes.

Directions

Light Yellow-
Add 2 drops of Lemon Yellow Americolor gel food coloring to 1 cup of white frosting and mix together. Letting the frosting sit for around 1-2 days will help deepen the color. Feel free to add more or less to achieve your
desired color.

Medium Yellow-
Add 4 drops of Lemon Yellow Americolor gel food coloring to 1 cup of white frosting and mix together. Letting the frosting sit for around 1-2 days will help deepen the color. Feel free to add more or less to achieve your desired color.

Darker Yellow-
Add 6 drops of Lemon Yellow Americolor gel food coloring to 1 cup of white frosting and mix together. Letting the frosting sit for around 1-2 days will help deepen the color. Feel free to add more or less to achieve your desired color.
