Tearing Down A Ford 59AB Flathead In Hopes For An Untouched Block

During our first conversation with Ronnie Roadster, we learned that Matt needed a core block that as little work preformed as possible. That means there couldn't be any porting, relieving, or a conversion to SBC valves. This is typically the opposite of what we are looking for, so all the engine blocks in the shop won't work. Thankfully our good friend Carl has a large collection of Flatheads, and he has some really nice ones buried in the back of the pole barn. Since we are dragging home the 1947 Ford Coupe it makes sense to dig a little further and pull out a clean 59AB engine. Matt and George work on tearing the engine down to a bare block to see if this can be used for the 1933 3 window's Blown Ardun. There are a few surprises along the way, we will let you watch to find out!
