The season opening meeting at Standlake Arena on the 15th February saw the third running of the Mini Metal Classic with a Pre-95 split for the ever-entertaining Teen Street Class, with this year going down as the best running of the event yet!

Star cars from the Teen Streets included multiple A40s, a Triumph Dolomite & Toledo, a Standard 10, Morris Minor, Lada Riva, Datsun 120Y and much more!

Also appearing alongside were the Street Bangers for the first qualifying round of their Gold Roof series, with the action being as frenetic as ever! A 50 car Final in wet conditions was the perfect recipe for carnage, with pileups at both ends of the track during the race, leaving a lot of damaged cars come the end.

The Teen Streets return for Standlake's next meeting on the 1st March, forming the lineup for the A1 Metal Recycling Open, alongside the 2ltr and Unlimited National Bangers.
