It was a somber courtroom in Beverly Hills Wednesday where Judge Eldon Fox sentenced actor Lane Garrison to three years and four months in prison for a drunken driving crash that left one teenager dead and two others critically injured.

Judge Fox also spoke directly to the family of 17-year-old Vahagn Setian -- who was killed in the fatal crash of Garrison's S-U-V last December.

Garrison pled guilty in May to vehicular manslaugher and driving under the influence.

A former actor in the Fox Network series "Prison Break", Garrison faced up to seven years in prison, and also apologized for his actions.

Outside the courthouse, a spokesman for the victim's family reacted to the sentence.

Garrison will begin serving his sentence immediately. He's already been in custody, serving time in jail until sentencing day. He's also ordered to pay some three-hundred-thousand dollars to the victims and their families.
