We've been consistently investing on our own, taking a DIY approach, for about 4.5 years now, and we’ve definitely seen the most growth in our investment portfolios over the past year and a half.

I (Steph!) went from $81,594 in my investment portfolio in March 2024, to $157,517 in my investment portfolio in February 2025, to $194,617 in my investment portfolio in August 2025.

Clearly my investments have grown pretty dramatically over the past 1.5 years - some of that growth comes from my own contributions, and some of it comes from the growth of my investments themselves (aka them increasing in value).

And that's exactly what we're going to talk about in today's video!
