I first attempted to use grinders and sanding wheels on the frame to remove the existing surface. Luckily I made the great decision to call a mobile sand blaster local to Southern California. We then used Por 15 Urethane paint and brushed on a thick protective paint to the frame. Truly very happy with the end result and had no issues if you took your time to measured out the correct mixtures. I would recommend nearly 20% thinner to every batch as well.

The rubber liner on the frame is horse mat from Tracker Supply Company.
