This is the ASUS Vivobook S15 featuring the Snapdragon X Elite. The main reason I picked this laptop is for its impressive battery life, which I hope we get close to the advertised 18 hours. This will be a full ASUS Vivobook S15 Snapdragon X Elite performance review covering benchmarks, games, thermals, and also I will be doing a teardown to see what we're able to upgrade.

Inside, we have the Snapdragon X Elite, specifically the X1E 78 100, and a 15.6-inch 3K OLED display with a 2880 by 1620 resolution and up to 600 HDR peak brightness. It also includes Wi-Fi 7 support, and the overall weight is only 1.42 kilograms. For the battery, we get a 3-cell 70-watt hour and a 90-watt AC adapter.

Taking a look at the ports, on the right-hand side, we get two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-As. On the left-hand side, we get one HDMI 2.1 TMDS, two USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-Cs, a micro SD card reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The keyboard features a backlit, chiclet design with one-zone RGB and 1.7mm key travel. It also includes number keys that are perfectly sized.

The Vivobook S15 also boasts a 180-degree lay-flat hinge and a full HD camera with infrared support for Windows Hello.
