Excel MAX Function | Find the maximum of a range of numbers | Excel One Minute Quick Reference

Описание к видео Excel MAX Function | Find the maximum of a range of numbers | Excel One Minute Quick Reference

The MAX function in Microsoft Excel allows you to find the maximum value from a range of numbers. You can use the MAX function simply by accessing the AUTOSUM drop-down menu in the Home tab of Excel, just selecting your numbers range and clicking on the MAX option from the AUTOSUM menu.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can type the formula yourself in the cell, by starting a formula with the equal sign, then type MAX( and select the range. It's ok to include blanks in you range, it won't affect the values and it lets you add more values later.

In this series of one-minute Excel quick reference video tutorials, I aim to provide easy access to all of Excel's functions and formulas, in an easy to understand manner with appropriate examples so that you can get started with Excel quickly and apply the functions you need.

If you enjoy these tutorials, let me know in the comments what function I should cover next!
