Hammond L 100 restauration, maintenance and overview


This organ has been build in 1963 and never been used since the 80's.
I managed to change the damaged rectifier tube, fix/reoiled the tonewheel-generator and cleaned the drawbar contacts.
I was totaly blown away, that nothing more needed to be done to reincarnate this awesome piece of music history after 60 years and nearly 40 years without maintenance. By now Hammond stands for the "bulls eye" of building quality to me.
