Kolkata, 4th December 2023 — The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Kolkata, celebrated its 5th Convocation Ceremony on the 4th of December, 2023, featuring The Honourable Governor of West Bengal, Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose, as the chief guest. The ceremony, a pivotal moment for graduating students of FDDI Kolkata Batch 2019-2023, witnessed the conferring of Bachelor of Design degrees.

In a distinguished gathering comprising Managing Director, Col. Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Executive Director, Mr. Sunil Kumar U., faculty members, staff, students, and eminent industrial personalities, The Honourable Governor delivered an inspiring speech. To recognize and motivate exceptional academic achievements, The Honourable Governor announced cash prizes during the ceremony – a substantial Rs 35,555 for the gold medallist (Ms. Anushka Banerjee overall topper) and Rs 25,555 each (Ms. Anushka Banerjee, Ms. Anchita Ghosh and Ms. Ritu Gupta, departmental toppers) for the silver medallists.
