Описание к видео Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang is located in the north of Laos, it is the old capital of Lao Lan Xang Kingdom from 1352-1707.
Luang Prabang was established as UNESCO world heritage site since 1995.
Now it's the ninebr most visited city in Laos, fabulous for beautiful scenery, old temples, handicrafts and outdoor activities such as trekking, Kayaking, cycling and waterfalls.

One of the main attractions in Luang Prabang is the morning almsgiving ceremony where monks from 12 temples in the center walk in a long line in the morning from 5:30-7:00am to collect food and stick rice from local people.

In Buddhist tradition almsgiving is an act of love and generosity. It's the way of making merit that people can share there food to the Monks.
Also belief that giving of alms is the beginning of one's journey to Nirvana.

And in order to give alms one has to dress respectfully and conservatively like, women has wear Sinh which skit that's long enough to cover their knees and cover their shoulders.
Hi folks, NatNomad here. An ex-Buddhist monk from Laos with a big dream of seeing the world. Throughout my time for over 10 years being a monk I kept asking myself one question "What life is like out there beyond the monastery?" and because of this question alone made me take a big step in 2014 when I finally said goodbye to my wonderful monastic life.
And now I'm doing what I've always wanted to do. Though I am not quite sure if I can say that I'm living my dream but you know what I'm loving my new adventure.
Please make sure to stick with me so we can explore new exotic places together.
Let the adventure begins!
Thanks so much for your support.
