Forehead flap takedown at Bravia Derm in Toledo

After complete removal of skin cancer, this patient’s nose was reconstructed with skin from her forehead. Dr. Molenda at Bravia Dermatology left an artery from the forehead attached for 3 weeks prior to detaching it and further sculpting the tissue. 1 week after this detachment procedure, the patient has a more normal contour on her nose. The redness will fade with time.
