Three men in Firemen's uniform step out of 2nd floor window and are caught by Firemen below, A small group put out a fire using fire extinguishers. Various shots of spectators on balconies watching the fire fighting display. Horse drawn fire fighting equipment with steam pumps are displayed, and lots of water coming out of hose pipes. The use of the extending ladder is used with firemen getting into upper windows. The latest motorised fire engine with multiple extension ladders is shown and driven around.



CA's of the crowd watching and clapping. Fire engines are driven through streets. Ext. of London Fire Station. Two white horses heads. Firemen put out a controlled fire with hand held Fire Extinguishers. A hand drawn cart with five firemen on it is pulled and pushed from the station. The men operate two hand pumps on the cart. Two horses pull out a steam driven pump and operate it and gallop away. Two large extension ladders are raised up against a practice building. A dummy is lowered whilst the other hoses the building. Three "modern" fire engines are driven out of the London County Council Fire Department building.
