Yowah is a small town in outback western Queensland, Australia in the Paroo Shire local government area. Yowah is located 938 kilometres (583 mi) west of the state capital, Brisbane and 132 kilometres (82 mi) west of Cunnamulla. As of the 2006 census Yowah had a population of 142.[1] In 2017 the full time population of Yowah was 100, with many Southerners owning residences and mines staying only during the winter period and leaving when the weather became too hot.
